Car settings in Race Dry/Wet

Hi,

If a race stars dry and i have a car setting for example 5 RH and 8 WH...after a couple laps its starts to rain...Can i change the RH and WH while racing?
And if not, how about +12/12 or +18/18 settings, is that only before the race starts?

You can’t really change the wing level unless you make a pit stop and you can’t change ride height during a race, even if you could parc ferme conditions would restrict that

Also, if an owner "buys" the setup for 3 coins, does the setup automatically change during the race to compensate for a change in wet/dry conditions? Is it best to "buy" the setup for races that may have changing weather conditions?

You can’t change wing level during pit stops, your setup is fixed once qualifying locks in. 




Yeah once you have spent 3 tokens on the ideal setup it will adjust automatically according to the track conditions, but setup only adjusts before qualifying locks in as far as I’m aware. Yes only buying the ideal setup if there’s a high possibility the race will start wet is a reliable approach, it’s how I have always done it.

You can change front wing level in a pitstop if you change the whole front wing, this is only in real life, not the game!
