Wat probeerde je te doen?
Hello . I switched to another league and they were only at the start of a new season. Well my car design is completely gone. All parts on 1 and 4 and 6. That doesn't seem normal to me. Now I can forget about the whole season. This is not fair. I think something went wrong here.


Wat gebeurde er in plaats daarvan?
I recieved for the most of the things a rating of 1!!!! This can't be True. Tis is not fair. Can somebody help me without step out and join again?? Thanx

This isn't a bug unfortunately 😢

The game recalculates your car design for the amount of races the league had so far in the season, in your case it was 2, and not the full season car design as before when you joined on whatever race and would receive the same car as others received for the 1st race of the season.

They did this to prevent someone from entering on race 2, as you did, and dominating the league or reducing the chances of those already trying to escape relegation.

Yes, as Juanito wrote, this is the intended design for joining in mid-season. For Elite with best possible CD after two races it's 6 DP in Strength, 2 points in Weakness, 4 points everywhere else and 6 points to spend.

So I'll move this thread to Help&Support as the design seems to be within the expected and not a bug. As it's seen as too harsh a punishment, especially that early into a season, thoughts and suggestions for a more fair system are always welcome.

Okay sorry for posting in the wrong place. As I understand it, is it normal that you don't even get a minimal car but just get severely punished? This punishment is ridiculous. Why not just get minimum points on the components when joining a league at the beginning of the season. Normally this will be about 40 points per part. With my 2nd account I switched to another competition and it is much less punished and only 2 or 3 GPs were on the way!

Now my whole season is nothing


fuel consumption I only received a rating of 1. This can't be true, can it? Can you please do something about this? And it's not even my chief designer's weakness.

It feels like a bug. The punishment is grossly unjustified. I switched to another competition and there was 1 GP. My car is fine and practically lagged behind the rest. You 1 GP more and your whole season is wasted. Too bad about the game to punish people like that. Not really motivated.

No worries, as it was perceived as a bug it was the right place. About the FE, you're sure you took all supplier maluses into account? If yes that value isn't right, it should be in line with the other at 4.

I do agree it is too harsh a penalty. Personally I'd go with the suggestion, from Kevin Bissell I think, giving joiners the normal season starting design, plus perhaps points to spend on the current formula (1 to 3 dp per missed race, depending on tier). That way the penalty is still always noticeably present, but managable early into the season and still really hurts later into the season.

Still, it's not all lost, with not spending your HQ points for the next few races to maximise research you're up to speed in the 2nd half of the season.

Thanks for the explanation. It's a shame you're being punished like that. When you are so fanatic and have invested a lot, this does not really motivate. Had hoped the helpdesk might be able to help me. Or maybe give me an exception. But unfortunately. This is very disappointing.
