What did you try to do?
If the devs and mods pay any attention to the forums then i shouldn't need to explain how bugged and irrational lap 1 is

What happened instead?
I gained 3 positions then lost 8 on my first lap, and was 7 tenths slower than someone who had 5 laps more fuel a step lower tires, and the person overtook me. There's no realistic way to justify that happening.

Did the problem happen while using wi-fi, mobile data, or both?
Wi-fi

Did the bug happen in the app, on PC, or both?
App

What is the model of your device?
Irrelevant

What is the operating system?
Android

What is the version number of the operating system?
Irrelevant

Can the bug be reproduced?
Every race its reproduced by random people gaining or losing tons of positions for no obvious reason

What about, your driver bogged down of the line and the (i’m presuming medium tyre runner) managed to get a good start, that is quite realistic whether you like it or not and sometime it will work in your favour instead 🤷‍♂️

No it was soft vs super soft and it wasn't at the start, it was halfway through the lap. The track was abu Dhabi and id gone from 8th to 4th by the hairpin, and from the first chicane to the 2nd id dropped down to 12th. There's no realistic explanation for that, especially when the soft runner that overtook me started in 13th and had 5 laps more fuel, let alone the other 8 people whod overtaken me. I was a lap lighter than most so it makes sense I could gain some positions off the line, but never in real life would you see 4th to twefth in one straight unless someone's engine blew. And this is only one of the mildest lap 1 calamities, I've seen people gain or lose 10, 15 positions to people they really shouldn't lose a position to, including people with no setup and strategy on mediums.

Yep, lap 1 needs to be fixed, it's ok to be random, but that's to much...
