We have a Vote in our League about this & I wondered what the League consensus was.
For: Allows lower Teams to compete instead of waiting 6 to 7 months to become competitive, if done right & that is the catch.
Against: Makes about 5 or 6 races per season a waste of time, as 1 Team will dominate. Is it in the spirit of the League to do it this way?
Personally, it's not banned in the League & if you do it correctly you punch way above your level. I'm not against it. I'm just not for it either. If everyone did it, then car building comes down to who blinks last. They get all the points & become very hard to beat.
If this has been voted on before, please send me the link & feel free to close this thread.
Thanks

Could you please elaborate what exactly you mean? I'm rather new to the forums and don't really get it ?

This is the process of a manager not spending dp for several races, maximising the gaps they can research. Therefore when they do spend their car is faster than the regular competition who spend dp every race. However it is very useful for lower level teams though, gives them a chance to survive.
Friends in another league have a rule where 80dp can be saved at once, no more. This means that the car doesn’t get too overpowered.

Exactly, thanks for explaining that. It also depends on what the League does. If everyone goes after one thing ie Acceleration, it's not as effective, but still useful.

I see, thank you for the explanation!
