hi guys,

sometimes i read "xxxx chnaged to hard tires" in the race viewer before the race.
is this juts a dummy text, or how are can you change tires after qualifying?

i struggle with kers (yes, i have kers on manual). i have only the free viewer.
how can i use kers best ? use it hard only in one / two rounds. or use it slighty in gear 3-4 only and have it for 5-8 rounds?
does it help when i use kers after a stopp to heat the tires up?

thanks...

No, there's no way to change from your qualifying tyres.

And the KERS usage is up to you, but I'd advise you to save most of it for the end, but if you can, use a bit of it to get into DRS range where possible, so that just a bit of KERS can gain you a huge amount of time.

Hello Ni Ki,

When you see 'xxxx changed to hard tires' what that means is the other person would of finished the previous race on softs, but will be starting this race on hards, and vica versa.

I don't think that explanation is correct. It might be that the tyres changed from qualifying. Did it rain in qualifying then dry in the race?

I see this phrase in every single race I went, so it's not because the tires changed from qualifying.
