Sorry, this report is confusing. You don't spend research points you earn them each race by selecting one or more attributes to research on the cars/review page.
You get to assign dp that are generated by your Design HQ.
When you say "nothing happened" what exactly do you mean?

If I Earn after a Race 20 points ( assuming I'm a lv 20) I can spend ( use) those points to research on my car. If I Use ( spent) those 20 points let's say on braking and if the number I had before the race was 83 and 83 plus 20 is 103 and if I keep on 83 points then I think I spent points without anything happening why is this confusing?
You Have 20 Points To Use YOU Do Use Them And then nothing evolves on the numbers. So I've Spent 20 Points For Nothing.

Those are not called "research points" that's why it's confusing.
Yes, if you have a L20 Design HQ it will generate 20 design points which you can assign as you wish. Are the numbers above just examples or are they what you're reporting actually happened?
When did it happen and have you tried clearing the cache?

Ok sorry for the misunderstanding. The situation was I had 34 DPs tu use ( because I did 2 races without using them) and when I did the values kept the same as they were before those races. I've logged off the app cleared the cache but the problem is still there....Now I'm lv 18 but but I was 17 before I had the problem maybe it's connected?

I have flagged for support to investigate but it's the weekend so they may not get around to it for a couple of days. I don't think you levelling up should make any difference. If the design points were showing as available and you assigned them to one or more attributes the car design should have gone up.
