Sprint Races?

I would like sprint races, where you run a 1/3 race distance compared to what you normally would do (So 1/6 length if races are half distance), where you can get less points, like in F2. These should have less wear on the drivers and cars, or none, and may be reverse, to spice things up, and make sure slower teams get more points.

Why does no-one want reverse sprint races? I think its a good idea

As each league can be 100%, 75%, 50% or 25%. A 25% at 2x speed takes just over 10mins, and can be classed as a sprint race I guess

When would they run? Would they replace a full race? 

I wouldn’t be a fan, as reducing the distance means that there isn’t going to be much options for strategy. 

They would be like F2, 1/3 of the normal race in reverse, fully, and it could be the next day or a hour or so after the main race. Also like F2, you would try to not pit at all, and in reverse it would add mixed up grids to make the grid more spicy

Like I said before, we have 25/50/75/100% races. We don’t need 33%. People would want a normal league race the next day, and are often busy 1hr after their actual race time. 


Reverse grids happen sometimes anyway, with quali being a mess sometimes, what does that do for quali tyres?
