Today, I was excited to see how the new tyre compounds were going to work... everything was right until I opened the live race... WTF???? My drivers have intermediate tyres when I used medium!! I checked that every driver was the same way... so, I think is a big mistake and must be resolved... for what I've seen:

supersoft = S (soft)
soft = H (hard)
medium = I (wet intermediate)
hard = W (wet full)

This leads to another question... what happens if it rains in my races and I use wet (full) tyres? I will be on race with wet or hard tyres?

Hi Razziel, sorry that you experienced this. Your guesses about the compounds were correct and it was a display issue only, impacting the free viewer, not the 2D viewer. Until it is corrected, we have disabled the free/live timing viewing option and enabled 2D access for everyone. 2D is functioning correctly for everyone, so this was the best option until we get on top of the issue with the free viewer.

By tomorrow we aim to have the issue resolved with the free viewer, and re-introduce the option, also revoking 2D access from those that did not have access previously.

Ok, thank you, I supposed it was just a temporary mistake, but I reported to make sure that you knew this issue.

EDIT: I've just seen another issue (I was still in race when I posted). In free live race, tyres appears in a very intense red, I supposed it was part of the update, but when I've opened 2D race I've seen that tyres heat is shown as always... so, my race have been a complete dissaster because I couldn't know how where my tyres going.

So, there are two issues with free live race: tyres names and tyres heat indicator. Good luck :)

Were you spectating someone else's race? That's not permitted without a subscription in the 2D viewer.

"Great" solution, since every time iGP updates some tool on Java it takes more than half an hour to load competely. Now race is happening and 2D Java is still loading... totally far away from the half load. I hope to control my drivers before the end of race.

Hi Eric, obviously that is not acceptable, but I can assure you that is not by design. We have heard of this happening sometimes but it remains a mystery exactly why this happens to some people. Does this happen to you every time there is an update? If so you might be able to help us find out why it happens.

Another question

Which is the correct tyre temperature? The one appearing on car controls or the one appearing on time table?

The correct tyre temperatures appear on the time table.
