Why am I so much slower on the straights? I have one of the best cars in the league, with 31 acceleration, 11 downforce, 18 braking and 9 handling. I am really close to the best car on design and have the best suppliers in terms of performance. But why am I so much slower on the straights at USA (Max speed of 199 mph to 217 to the fastest). I know setup has some impact, but surely not that much

Are you usually heavier than others in terms of fuel?

yes must be fuel or if you have one it could be balllast

I d run higher fuel because my efficiency is low and I like to push at max all times, and I ran out of fuel at one point so..

ok, my advice is the 3 stop could help with either quaddruple softs or SS then triple soft. please give it a go for quick tyres and low fuel could help for if you run long you will be on slow tyres. and if you go on softer its  bad for you want to pit at around 35%

How is your tyre temperature in race?

Pretty normal actually. Between red and middle. Does that really affect things on the straights

What do you mean by between red and middle? The optimal temperature is always in the middle

on the higher end. 3/4 up the range

That is not ideal, you have to manage your push levels to achieve better temperature.

A quick tip: do not push a lot on the straights as unlike real life, your tyre temperature will raise drastically, while on the other hand, you should push more in slow/medium corners, as the temperature does not raise a lot there

I wish you could push tires and fuel separately. Then I could run less fuel, but still go ham on the tires. Pushing max on S is OP, at least by my experience. I'll set up a forum post about pushing tires and fuel separatly

Swap your engine supplier to Wonder, get the extra FE to give you and edge, then come back... There is no point in having the best acceleration if you weight like a truck
