1. The forecast for my race tomorrow shows Tues, then the next three days also. Why should I take note of the other three days? Aren't I just interested in Tues' weather?!
It has heavy rain forecast so I assume the practice laps I do are setting up for rain or once the set-up is perfect do I need to re-adjust for the rain?
Bit of help here wouldn't go amiss, pls!
2. So, I've just logged on to see my race which took place earlier this evening. Is it not possible to watch the race through despite not being able to make any live decisions, but simply to watch the race unfold - rather than just clicking on race result?
3. How come I lost Rep XP, yet finished above two other guys tonight - for me that was an achievement, seeing as the only 4 to finish in front are much better and have been here much longer! Seems a bit harsh!
Thanks as ever

1. Even when the forecast is rain, sometimes just before the race the weather is sunny or overcast. My advice is, if you can, always do the practice laps, in the 10 mins before the closing of the session. that way most probably you'll start the race with the right tyres and car configuration.
2. There are no re-watch of races, just the final results. Such a pity...
3. There are only 4 managers in your league and also with low reputation. The XP points are given considering the nº of managers and their reputation. The higher both are, more points are given if you stay close or beat the ones stronger than you. But since you are in a league with few and weak managers..
But dont worry about that, you'll raise soon...

ok thanks, but again: why does it show forecast for the following three days too?! Is the weather just game-play or is it related to real life weather?

The game uses real live weather.

being able to watch a 2D replay of a previous race for that season would be an excellent addition to subscriber options, imo.
would certainly be good for anyone not able to attend a live race.
at present, if you miss a race, you only get to "enjoy" a data sheet.
i say only for that season, rather than multiple seasons, because the storage of races for multiple seasons would become a problem i think.
Devs, is such a thing technically possible?

count me in for paying for that!

If it's live weather, does that mean that if I do my setups 12 hours prior to the race, it will using temperatures that are vastly different? My races start at 9 AM, so I'd be doing set up for temperatures from 9 PM?
In other words, if I won't be available in the few hours preceding the race, is my best option to try and do setup work about 24 hours prior, so it's the closest approximation to the temperatures for that time of day?

Good question actually, but not one that I have any idea about.

I normally do JUST ONE practice lap, right after the race if there's a race in the next day and if the weather will be the same.
The other 4, i make them 15/20min before the race, when i can.
I dont think the temperatures really affect the setup that much, for what i've seen. If you try the setup laps with different tyres (SS, S, M, H), the setup indications from the driver will be the same.

The set-up page is the same for all managers. Some people only have races one or two times a week, so knowing the weather on the day of the race is useful if you can only set-up after the current race or a number of days before the next race.
