Hey, is there any way to know the exact numbers on the research bars for each attributes? Like, I know that my car's acceleration is at 180 for example, but when I open research and look at the bar and see someone's ahead of me, I can't know their exact number of the given attribute, it's only visual.

Like in the image, I can't know the exact value of the green triangle, even when I look at the html code, there are only percentages but with the maximum being 200 points, it can be 1 off at times, and I'd like to know the exact value. In the image it's actually my FE, I know that it's at 101, but in the html code it's at 50%, both the bar and the red triangle, so looking at the green triangle in the html code is just not accurate.

You don't get numbers tho. I would love this. Its such a simple fix

EDIT: I didn't see the rest of your post after the pic, the first time around. Yeh, it's gonna be off, that's CSS for you. you can figure it out if you work your values backwards then apply it to the leader's value, but I think you would have to do it each time for every stat.

Gonna leave the below for others for future reference.

If you use your browser's dev tools to inspect the particular element. The bar is generated by a calculated percentage. You can use this to get the rough number (within 3 points).

Search for "<div class="ratingBar teal">" in your element viewer, should be pretty easy to find after that.

The percentage will be in a tag under that, you can use this to get the rough number, e.g. 46% * 200 = ~92

Hope this helps.

I know, it's also visible on PC, but asking them one by one is just not it :D

I'll keep trying, maybe it's possible get the exact value somehow, would be useful

From what I saw by looking at my league today. The percentage is pretty much dead on. I think the only error would be a rounding error from it rounding .5 up to 1

As far as I know it is not possible to get the exact value. As you say the strongest marker is an integer percentage value and therefore with a range of 1-200 it can represent one of two numbers.

Being a "glass half empty" sort of person I always assume the lower number which means very occasionally I get a surprise bonus research point.

it is dead on, as I said, it can be 1 off at times because of rounding, that's why I'd like to know the exact value, because it does matter, that's the only reason I want to know it

yeah that's my problem basically, if I can't know it exactly then I'll just stay at measuring it with my eyes as they are, I can just look at the bars and guess, it's just not worth the effort to start calculating things if I don't have exact inputs anyways

At first I also wanted this, but I don't think knowing the exact gap is good for the management part of research. For example, you may know that the Renault engine is more powerful than the Honda's, but you can't measure your rival's performance to know exactly by how much. Similar happen between teams on each stat as you can see them as the best, but can't say by how much over you.

I prefer just having this "cheat" feature as a guideline and risking it in a 50-50 bet on research.Only thing I wanted, if possible, is adding the best team to mobile as it helps you to learn the strengths of each circuit by comparing research to qualifying and race results instead of trial and error season in,  season out ... but this a topic for another thread.
