Hi,
Just a quick question; when will iGP Live timing be fixed? I have paid money for 12 months of 2D, and so far I have now wasted over 1 month of my 2D package as I am not able to join races. I have made posts on the foums and even made new Posts, but nothing with any fix. Also everything that was recommended done nothing. All I can see this is me just throwing my money away to you guys with nothing in return? I was patent about this for the first couple of weeks now, but it's just wasting my money now.

Havent had any problems with 2D in months myself

Hi Nick,
I can see that I closed your thread about the grey screen when dealing with an issue with races not running, lumping them all together as part of the same problem. This was clearly a mistake. I have forwarded your thread containing the console log to our simulator developer, but he may not be able to investigate your case until Monday.
In the meantime, is this an issue with the 2D viewer exclusively? For example, can you access the Free viewer just fine? Also, what version of Java are you running?

Hi Jack,
I my Java is running the lastest windows 64 bit verson. I have also tried it on every browser so I was running latest Chrome, lastest Opera, latest Internet Explorer and latest firefox, still had the same problem.
Thankyou for forwarding the log aswell, the wait will be fine.
Nope, I cannot load "Free data view" either, the only viewer I can load is "Timing only" without the controls. This is what I get when I try to load 2D or Free Data view: http://gyazo.com/fee0b3daeff25ae0672497c5dacb8238

This is why I want us to move away from Java... the problem isn't really our fault or yours, it's just Java being a pain in the backside. Many things can cause Java to paly up, such as having two versions installed.
It might be worth trying to uninstall and delete all instances of Java from your system completely then downloading it again. It's worth a try while you wait, if you haven't already done so. Other than that I will defer to Chris (our sim developer) to handle this, as he knows more about Java than I do.

Hi Nick, sorry to hear you've been having problems. There's been similar issues with other people, but as Jack says there are many things that can be going wrong with Java to all produce the same result so it can sometimes be tricky tracking down the exact solution to each case.
There's a security update that will be implemented with the next version of the viewer which should be live at the start of next week. This will hopefully solve your problem based on the Java log you submitted.
I'm assuming if you've got as far as reinstalling your Java several times that you've been through the usual suggested procedures of opening the required port 25010 which could also be causing this. If not and you need assistance doing so let me know. Otherwise we'll get that update out as soon as possible and hope that it fixes your issue.
