Several questions about the game

Hello again!
I already have some questions and I would like to know if someone knows the answer :P
1.If I dismiss one of my Staff Members(let us suppose the Technical Director)...do I also lose all the Engineers and Mechanics I already have?
2.I would like to know if you receive some kind of economical reward when you finish the race or the league in 3th place.
3.And last question...about the results of the qualifying...Which attributes matter to make a good time? One of my "rivals" always have really good time laps during the qualifying, even if during the race I drive faster, and I would like to know how he does it.

I can answer you according to my experience:
1. Absolutely not.
2. There're rewards only if you hit the target position given you by the game in single races for each driver, not for overall standings.
3. Starting from the basis that qualify is quite a lottery... tyres, fuel and weight have the bigger influence and secondly slow corners, fast corners, wet weather (if it's raining, obviously) and feedback seem to have a fundamental role in it.
