Hello managers,
Downvotes were used in a toxic way, daily we receive reports from league hosts asking why their helpful comments get dislikes, moderators also receive this harassment when they just try to help or resolve doubts. We analysed some of the downvotes and most of them were coming from multiaccounts trying to create a toxic atmosphere.
We’re happy with constructive feedback about the game, we’re engaging with all of you very often and always giving news about our progress.
Please be patient, we keep working hard! ?
With all due respect, how can suggestions, feedbacks and ideas now be scrutinised (for the benefit of the game) without a balance of 'Likes' and 'Dislikes'?
You mention also it has been used in a 'toxic' way, and moderators have 'receive this harassment' from dislikes.
Firstly, it is not 'harrassment' as you put it, to disagree with a Moderator post with a dislike, particularly if the Moderator gives inaccurate, unhelpful, and/or gives wrong information in regards to player queries. It simply shows that that player disagrees with the post (giving you feedback, and allowing others the chance to give the right information)
Managers and players rightly should be able to voice an opinion (positive or negative) as it can show which ideas/suggestions/posts are positive, and which ideas/suggestions/posts need further work on improving. This is particularly true after the last 3D update, where managers and players can see the updates made, and what many fear, may be the destruction of a once great game.
Secondly, I believe this removal of the dislike feature was at around 18:00 UTC 05.05.21 (with you requesting Darren to remove the feature) This coincidently was after your last post got 2 dislikes.
Players and managers can see you cannot take this feedback (for whatever reason) It could also lead to debate as whether the gaming community think that the Community Manager role is still suitable for you, if you do not want to acknowledge player/manager dislikes with some of your posts, especially when you give incorrect information.
It would be a shame as you clearly care about the game (as we all do) but no one person should be allowed protect himself, at the expense of removing an entire feature.
