No pace in the race

For some reason, I ended up in 8th in the last race in Silverstone. I have a competitive car, with a high talent driver, I qualified in 2nd, the top Soft runner, therefore with a strategy advantage, and I used the same strategy as the top finishers (S-S-S). How did this happen?

I don't know if it's my problem or not, but there is something wrong with your league, there are 2 Silverstone races and I can't see any results from past races

Wait, this was the first race of your new driver. And she is L5 competing with L14 to L16. What do you think a driver is for?

Just checked and what do you expect honestly? you are running a level 5 driver against others who have much better drivers and as Cole said, you could provide some insight of how you managed your race

The talent is high and e most important. We obviously had the pace qualifying second

The talent is important, but to a certain extent. A talent 1 driver with stats around 15 will still be faster than your current driver. Your driver also weights less (better in qualifying) and doesn't have max stamina (loses pace throughout the final few laps). You are still also yet to mention how you managed your race

As I said, I had the same strategy as the top runners pitting around the same time

What I want to know is how you used your boost and how was tyre temp. Sorry if I wasn't clear

I kept PL at neutral so tire temp was normal, and I boosted at the end

Playing with PL (pushing in corners and cooling in straights) can increase your pace quite significantly. 
You do however have to stay in the optimal temperature zone as well.

Hardly any good of my rivals were there for the race
