I propose to enter the opportunity to choose the type of race in the leagues, from classic (that is, by the number of laps), and for endurance (by time). That is, instead of laps, there was time until the end of the race (of course, longer than the average time of the "classic" race). And of course with the corresponding calendar.
P. S. This idea has appeared to me literally now, so I am interested in your opinion ?

Sounds good. It has the advantage over distance to make races predictable in their duration and thus allows to consider racing in time slots, or on tracks, that would have to be disregarded knowing that a slow track or rain would mean missing the finish. Also fills a time slot better as fast tracks wouldn't be over 'too soon'.
Also a nice change in strategy as it adds predicting the distance the car will manage for fuel and tyre life considerations to avoid running out or (too much) overfilling fuel as well as over- or underusing the tyres.
Would also go nice with an old suggestion to be able to predefine different race lengths for the calendar/week days.
