I think it will be a good idea to be able to simulate runs with different push levels during practice runs to give managers a better estimate of how much fuel they need to put in for each stint for running at a certain push level. For example: if a manager is planning to use mediums for a stint and knows that a higher push level is needed, he can use setup test runs to simulate fuel consumption and tyre wear at that specific push level and put in the exact amount of fuel he wanted. This allows the cars to run the distance the manager needed since the manager doesn’t need to estimate and risk over-filling or under-filling the car.

I like the idea. However it would be inaccurate as you don't run the full race on max push
