Ancient staff in auctions

Why is there 70 year old plus staff appearing in the auctions in the higher tiers? Surely they are a waste of time and just there to make sure you waste tokens if an unsuspecting player doesnt check the age. As soon as you try to extend there contract they decide to retire..

Didn't you read the news story where the Hartono family was one of many that got swindled by a ponzi crypto scheme?  Poor family, lost all their money and now he has to still work at age 75. ? ?
