Car Setup Between Two Drivers

I've recently moved to a two car league from my usual one car league

When you do your five test laps per driver and get a setup they both like, is it better to apply the setup from the better trained driver to the other, or should they both keep the setup they each came to on their own?

I've always let my 2 drivers come up with their own setup, since each has their own style/characteristics.

I have no idea, as I've only been playing for a few months, but I can share my personal method.

I've been running with a clear number 1 driver, and hiring a number 2 with higher technical skills.  I run all five practice laps with my number 2, then (using that setup) practice with my number 1.  It seems to be working all right for me at the moment.
