Staff members blocked by inactive managers

Hi all,
Making a search to replace staff members i found again several cases of blocked members.
i.e., waiting hiring confirmation in a team which the manager is inactive for long.
An example : Tuomo Virtanen, Chief DesignerIs waiting confirmation by an inactive manager for already 1 year 48 days ago.

This is just a case amngst several i found again.
As this is not the first time it happens and also not an isolated case, this time i thought it would be better to alert.
Maybe in a long term this could be fixed. Just a sugestion.

I think i read somewhere that the dead limit to a proposal expire is 12h.
But maybe i'm wrong.

Hey, I think I know what the problem is, despite having only been playing the game since August. I have encountered the same thing before as you, but it isn't too big of a deal (except when I want a driver).

Back in 2012 the game never had an expiration time for contract negotiations. It seems when expiration times on contract negotiations was added to the game, staff who were waiting to be confirmed at a team were grandfathered in. Meaning, existing contract negotiations that were currently waiting to be confirmed or denied at the time of implementation were unaffected by the update.

The expiration time for contract negotiations is indeed 12 hours.

What annoys me more than this is that it takes 15 minutes for driver and staff negotiations to conclude, but only a matter of seconds for sponsors and suppliers to conclude negotiations. A few times I've signed out because I don't have the time to wait for 15 minutes and am unable to check back in after 12 hours have passed. Then I lose the contract :( hahahaha...No biggie though, always lots more staff with the same levels of stats.

Did this ever get solved as I have the same issue with somoen I am chasing
