Hi Jack,
Well mate... regret to inform you that you were absolutly right a few day ago, when the Sponsor glitch ocurred.
You said by then how ungratefull it is to try to fix a glitch, cause with so many variables and code lines it ends up by causing a cascade of new glitches.
A couple days ago the races were rerunned. Since then, at least 2 odd things came out and are still present as i write these lines :
1) Driver and staff contracts do not decrease their lenght as races take place. They keep the same duration.
Partners/Sponsors contracts i can't tell cause i did not payed attention.
2) On the "League" tab when you choose "Previous race" instead of showing the previous race, after 1 day saying " There is no previous race" now shows the 1st race of the present seson. At least in my league (iGP Champions).
However, i have another account in other league (US Grand Prix) and in that league it shows also not the previous but it send us 2 races behind,
Sorry the bad news, Jack :(

The title made me laugh. I have had a lot of headaches lately, not just because of iGP but I'm also having some difficulty with my immigration case to live in Norway which is likely to go on for a few weeks. Anyway...
I presume this is only valid for the last two days or so, when the races were all wound back and re-run to fix the reputation issue.
Let me know if it persists going forward. I don't think it's a fundamental issue with the expiring of contracts and the previous race button, just some hiccups in the data due to those "repair" operations. In the leagues where things are 2 races behind it might take 2 races to return to normal, or at least I wouldn't be surprised if that's the case, it would be consistent with the theory.

Yes, you're right. It came out only since the re-run as i said before.
I'll keep an eye and if persists after 2 or 3 more races i'll let you know.
I dont think neither are very serious issues too. However was just to keep you aware.
Nice evening.

Thanks, that's the best idea. Also, thanks for caring about my headaches. :P

Told you already that if you're struggling with lack of daylight and low temps, you should take a week in Lisbon .
Best therapy available in Europe for that disease.
12 hours of daylight and almost 30º temp this week...

I'm settling for supplementing vitamin D at the moment, but that does sound appealing!

I met problem #1 too. All my staff and driver contract were extended by one race. They were supposed to expire by the end of my season, now they go on until after the first race of the next season. Jack can you fix this please?

Hi Jason, I've just corrected your contracts as requested. :)

Just checked both my accounts and in both the contracts are decreasing duration, as well as in both Leagues the "previous race" is now correct.
Glitches #1 and #2 are solved.
In what concerns me, you can close this topic. 2 headaches less for you.
Great work and many thanks, Jack.

I just want to say, way to go Jack.
Seriously, it seems like a tough job just understanding what it all means to code something like this, but it has to be frustrating when something goes wrong and you have to sort through the code to find out why. I'm thinking that maybe I'd be able to do that kinda stuff, programming games, but at the same time it seems like a painful job/task/hobby. So I say good work. I understand the effort it takes.

Thanks Joe. If you want to get in to something like this and you're passionate about it, you'll pull through. It's not always easy though!
There's a quote I like to remind myself of at times. It goes something like "Life isn't about not having problems, it's about choosing the quality of your problems. The only people without problems are dead!". Maybe it will come in handy for you too, if you decide to get in to this line of work. :) There are much worse problems to have in the world.
