Is there any plans to make practice times actually have some relevance to a race or a cars true pace. At present it seems to mean nothing, i have been fastest in practice often then qualify low down , mid card.
Surely there is an easy opportunity to enhance the game by allowing practice to have some relevance in setting up correctly and knowing where you are at for a particular race.

Not really sure anything is wrong with practice as it is now. Many managers just sandbag during practice is all (solely for the reason you want it changed). They don’t want their true pace known.

Practice bares no reflection at all the qualifying of race pace. It is a known element in the game that it means very little, some may even say nothing at all.

Yes there are other factors involved to a race/qualifying but like I said, managers sandbag to avoid revealing their true pace during ‘practice’. This is done for a lot of reasons…I.e If they are faster, you could decide to copy their development approach… Yes, there maybe be errors from the drivers during practice but you can easily deduce the ‘correct’ average lap time for ‘practice’.

Unless you get every manager not to sandbag during practice, there is nothing that can be done to practice that will give you advance knowledge on where you will be on the grid in comparison to your opponents.
