Hi Jack,

In the race that just ended a few mins ago (Magyar F1 league, in Monza) the race started normaly and with about 1/3 already done, appeared the famous "connection problem" and the race restarted again from lap 1.
But with completely different track and weather condtions....

As i made the test runs 5 mins before preparation locked, i had wet setups and tyres due to the heavy rain conditions.
It started normally under the announced conditions but after 7 or 8 laps came the "connection problem" and haulted.
When the connection was re-established it started from lap 1 with dry condtions !!!
As you can imagine it ruined all my setups, tyre and pit strategy..
Made so many pittings (in a 26 lap race) that also made a mistake in fuel and had to stop in final lap due to decimals of gas,  with 1 car even stoping out of fuel in the last corner..
During the second re-run it was a festival of sudden and brutal weather changes.
Any chance to reload that nasty race or even better to exlain what the hell happened ?

Thanks

I can understand your frustration. I was probably the most frustrated person when I got another SMS saying the service was rebooting due to an error (we get notified this way).

There are no new issues, it's just the same system that was crashing a week ago still crashing, and until we finish the updates due by December it's going to be running the same system every night, which means this could keep happening for another couple of weeks. I hate to have to set such low expectations, but this is what we have to work with until then.

From looking at the detailed race results I can see that you started on Soft tyres, switched to wet tyres on lap 3, then switched back to dry tyres on lap 7. The race winner also started on dry tyres but changed to wet tyres as you did, then didn't change back.

Regret to hear about another rebooting :(

In what concerns the details of the race i dont know if you can verify the weather report through out the re-race too.
If you can (we cannot) you will understand why so many pits I made. Others didn´t because most did not attend the race and that includes the winner.
Basically, in the restart race it came out dry instead of wet.
In lap 2 changed to heavy rain, thunderstorm and lightnings.again.
I pit in the end of lap 2 (not 3). My drivers are still exiting pits when it changes again from heavy rain, thunderstorm and lightnings to clear sky and tarmac drying at speed of light.
Few laps later i change to SS. Another 3 or 4 laps and when its amost dry after 2 floodings starts the same story., wet weather.....
And so on through all the re-race. Thats why i made so many pits. The changes were sudden, brutal and for short time.
Lucky those that did not attend the race. Made 1 or 2 pits and won.
Was definitly the best strategy for this ackward race. Not to attend to.

Jack, i was watching a race, and she went down and started again from the beginning.
This problem is still happening?

I've just been in there and sorted it out. Was it this race by any chance? http://igpmanager.com/play/?url=race-launch/464631

The race resume code isn't live yet, unfortunately. It's proving a real bitch to get up and running. Races will only restart if the service crashes, though, and that's incredibly rare now. Also, under the new system only a couple of races are typically affected, not all the races.
