There should be a FPS indicator, which calculates the performance running of the game.

Spoiler Alerts: There's no option to say "No"!
I made a mistake while writing the options, and I can't ✍ it again!

A setting allowing to enable an overlay showing FPS and maybe further stages with running latency (ping) and data usage (graph), RAM, CPU/GPU utilization and other game data could help with figuring out problems as people could post screenshots with it enabled.

Can someone who said 'no' explain why they rejected the suggestion? Just saying 'no' over and over again surprisingly isn't useful feedback.

Spoiler...

Better to be fair in a poll and put all options, such as no, up...

"No" because he didn't added such option as it's also one πŸ‘

But for me, personally, a FPS counter wouldn't add anything to the game other than an in-race number updating every second or so. It would make a game, which is already heavy on CPU, GPU and RAM, to be a tad bit higher on these for nothing!

Let's say it gets approved and added to the game. What would change? Mid-low level devices would have another layer of processing to do without adding anything useful to the manager in 99% of the cases. Even my phone (Moto G9+ with 4GB of RAM) sometimes closes the app whenever I try to use the keyboard on the chat, receives notifications from multiple apps or just by having an app running on the background. It's quite heavy at the moment. That 1% Frank said wouldn't even be that benefited as a FPS counter doesn't tell you anything, just that you have a problem! It can be overload on either the CPU, GPU and/or RAM, overheating, low battery or battery on power saving mode, high ping, high lost package % , slow up/down speeds. Literally, it can be anything! Or everything!

Another thing to consider: the game tries runs on a target FPS on all devices (I believe it's 50), so high FPS just means smoother movement up to some point. This is not an first-person-shooter where you can actually get an edge because you can get up to 300FPS!

Now, if the low resolution settings the devs were working on gets added to the desktop and mobile apps, then having a FPS counter for a benchmark test with specific settings can be useful if you want to keep decent graphics with smooth movement at the cost of some performance and being able to test it without being in a race. As I said: a test, not an in-race feature as suggested here.

I haven't even covered all the points and it's already a big enough answer. Now to wait for the low resolution settings to be added soon so I can get a smooth gameplay while chatting on Discord for Interliga races πŸ˜… πŸ‘‹

There’s no reason to add an FPS counter considering that FPS is not something that matters very much in IGP (it does in other games shooters especially) and it would just be a distraction for the manager.
