2D Pack 19.99 until further notice

During our recent survey, you told us you wanted cheaper subscription options. We've listened.

The 2D Pack is currently 19.99 and will remain at this price for the rest of December. This is not only 19.99 on the first purchase, it includes all future renewals at 19.99 as well.

There will be no big fanfare about it, because it's not a sale, it's an experiment. We're considering making this change permanent if it is popular. You know how to vote and help us make up our minds (grab one at this price!).

If you are an existing subscriber up for renewal this month, feel free to cancel and switch to the cheaper subscription.

If I switch over to the 19.99 subscription, will I be billed for it immediately or will I be billed when my current subscription expires? Thought this might be a good question on behalf of subscribers.

Billed at the time of purchase. If your subscription is expiring soon, it's a good time to switch. If it's not, then maybe hang around and see if the price sticks. If the price sticks it won't really matter, because you'll be able to get it in the future whenever you renew. :) That is IF it sticks, if sales justify it.

We want to offer it as cheaply as we can, but we also have to factor in how many people actually want to buy it. If we make it 19.99 and 33% more people don't buy it than were buying it at 29.99, it makes no sense. iGP has always been run on a shoestring, but it's still our priority to do the best we can for our subscribers.

We may even introduce other plans as well, but they will not work out cheaper over 12 months than 19.99.

What about a big bonanza in January with a "Welcome back" promotion ?

2D for ALL members for the month of January.. Subscribers will get their re-new days pushed back.

We need to get members back in the door. I've seen over 1000 managers logged in at the same time on more than one occation.. The system is far better and smoother these days and what people quit over will see the improvements with a nice offer from iGP to come back and join us again.

I imagine it would take a while to have all subscribers' expiration dates get pushed back. Let's avoid any issues with wrong expiration dates and wasting time on getting those dates pushed back and try something that is a compromise. Any non-subscribers signing in for the first time in 2015 will receive 10 new 2D views or the 28 day trial (whichever runs out first). This would let players who race at most 3 times a week enjoy 2D views for one whole month.

What you have said would take 10 times longer tbh.

So what happens when someones 2D doesn't load.. Then you start adding 1 more 2D to the ones who's had some sort of issue.

This way. Even if it messes up.. It's free for the whole month so you miss 1 2D.. so what... You have a full month of it.. So people won't be "Jack, I've had an issue with my 2D.. blagh blagh"

10 times more issues you way tbh. Sorry.

Good news Jack.. I like it.

I want as many people playing this and active in the game as possible too.  I think I'm in two of the best leagues, AOR and Alex Gillon's league... yes that was a plug!

If you are in Elite or Pro Tier looking for good attendance at races, join us.  We'll be pushing up some Pro guys into Elite Tier at the end of the season and we'd like some competition to play with when we get up there.

Good point, haha, that may be a bigger nightmare.
