It has recently been announced that Kimi Raikonnen will hand up his gloves and steering wheel at the end of the 2021 F1 season. As a result, I pose the question:
What are your favourite and most memorable Kimi moments from the last 20 years?

A sad (but inevitable) day for all Kimi fans ☹️
The Kimi in the McLaren days, especially 2003 - 2005, could have beaten anyone on his day, providing his car could finish the race! ? If it was not for one engine failure in Nurburgring 2003, and the series of engine grid penalties (out of his control) in 2005, we could well be speaking about an outgoing 3x F1 champion.
My favourite memory (amongst many) is probably the 2004 Belgian Grand Prix. Against arguably the best F1 car ever built (F2004), Kimi somehow managed to drive the revised McLaren (MP4-19B) to the win, handling superbly, the pressure of the 2 Ferrari's just behind, during the safety car periods and those restarts. Fastest lap as well for good measure on the day Schumi became 7x F1 champion! ?
Will miss the laughs that he brought into his interviews with the various media presenters; one or two worded answers! ? A well earned retirement though, and he can hold his head high after fulfilling and achieving his goal of become an F1 champion ☺️??

"Ha haha, I was having a sh*t"
and various other moments.

Most honest driver ever, he literally says what he thinks. And you can trust he would never ever willingly put another driver in danger, a trait some recent ‘champions’ miss.
Masterclass on integrity

Probably "Just leave me alone, I know what to do" or "F***ing finally" because that was just classic Kimi, but I can only name the newer ones because I wasn't even CLOSE to be born at the start of the career?

Perhaps everything before this hybrid era....

It's difficult to choose one. But I would say Malaysia 2009. Kimi Räikkönen eating an ice cream amid a downpour in Sepang. That was epic.

Japan 2005 - alone starting from P17 and then his only chance to overtake in last round the P1 and then still wins. Just awesome, my heart was jumping.
