2022 grid: your hopes?

Now with the move of Russell to Mercedes done, we will see a new teammate for Hamilton. But now for the question: who will replace him at Williams? And will Merc let their drivers race or will we have "George, it's James"? Feel free to leave your thoughts here!

From the various sources scoured online, it does like Alex Albon is the favourite for the 2nd Williams seat, with Nyck de Vries second favourite, and Nico Hulkenberg with an outside chance.

The 2nd Alfa Romeo seat is even more interesting. Nyck de Vries will be the favourite for this seat, if and when Alfa Romeo's first pick Alex Albon goes to Williams. Other options include; Theo Pourchaire, Mick Schumacher (if Haas contract is not confirmed), Robert Schwartzman, and even possibly Callum Illiot.

Giovinazzi is almost certainly out, from what I have heard.

I hope George Russell won't play Lewis Hamilton.

Mercedes:Sir Lewis Hamilton and George Russel
Red Bull:Max Verstappen and Checo Perez
Mclaren:Lando Norris and Daniel Ricciardo
Ferrari:Charles Lecrec and Carlos Sainz
Alpine:Estaban Ocon and Fernando Alonso
Aston Martin:Lance Stroll and Sebastian Vettel
Alpha Tauri:Pierre Gasly and Yuki Tsunoda
Alfa Romeo: Valterri Bottas and Antonio Giovnanzzi
Williams:Nicholas Latifi and Alexander Albon
Haas:Mick Schumacher and Nikita Mazespin

He disagrees with two of them. I think Daniel Ricciardo will not keep his position at Mclaren and that I will be Guanyu Zhou at Alfa Romeo.

Daniel already has a contract for 2022 and Antonio Giovnanzzi is showing improvments

Obviously a much more unpredictable racing with no glimpse of dominance whatsoever...

I mean, the Haas lineup can only go wrong, as we see this season... they just can't get used to each other😐

Even Steiner said that Grosjean and Magnussen were easier to handle and didn't make so much trouble.

My hopes are that Goerge will have a great season and Hamilton steps down from his big horse.

Also I like to see Gasly, Norris, Tsunoda and Albon see making progress. 

I like underdogs which fight sometimes even with the big stars.

And my biggest wish is to see Bottas kick Hamilton backside when he drives for Alfa Romeo.

No more Valtteri it's James. Now you don't need to hold back whenever you are racing Lewis. You are a Formula 1 driver who should be up against anybody and not doing things against your will...
