Unable To Explore New Leagues To Join

I'm having an issue with the League Select page. Yesterday, I left the league I was in because my time had recently become limited for everyday live management. Today, when I went to go search for new leagues to see if any fit my timeframe for days I'd like to be racing on, it was completely impossible to see all leagues. Here are some screenshots.

Obviously, I will most likely be shown leagues that are recommended for me based on the league I participate in — however I am no longer in one.



The next sensible thing I could do was to try to filter available leagues to join. That didn't work, so I cleared all filters and tried to view all leagues. I was unable to see anything. I noticed something unusual...the website is still telling me no results are found matching my criteria, yet I have cleared the filters.

Hi Yunus,
This means there are no suitable leagues with populated Elite tiers racing at around 8pm in your timezone. That is why it is recommending that you create a league to race with your friends.

The wording of the "all leagues" is misleading. I will change how that behaves so that it really does show "all" leagues. Currently it still filters looking for races near the time you have specified at the top.

The most popular times to race are in Europe. I emulated your account and changed the preferred race time to around noon and had loads of results.

Ah, okay. So does that mean the time I search for is based on GMT, rather than being adjusted for the timezone I have set my account for under account settings?

The time is adjusted for your timezone, that's the problem, the game is much more popular in Europe at this stage, especially the UK than anywhere else. The vast majority of leagues congregate around 5-9pm GMT.

At similar times in your local timezone, there isn't anywhere near as much activity. The leagues are either full or inactive.

We are bringing updates in 2015 that will dramatically improve the situation, but for now this is how it is!

I've changed the "all leagues" page to actually show all leagues when a time isn't specified now. That should save a few people some headaches! Before it was filtering by the default time selected, which meant the leagues were being heavily filtered even when you hadn't set a filter.

I actually found a glitch with this yesterday at around your timezone Yunus. Races around midnight GMT would cause a glitch in the page which meant leagues weren't showing when there were several available! I fixed this yesterday.

Much appreciated. It must cost you so much time when tiny blips like that come out of the wood works...hopefully everything else is sorted out on both our ends now!
