Try to read some suggestions on forum to see latest stuff out of curiousity

Got flooded with locked and old posts from years ago

Hello,

This has happened to me before, and it turns out I had accidentally turned the list to show oldest posts first. While in a subforum, there is a button which says, "last post" just above the thread list - if you press that, the forum should go back to showing newest posts first.
