How about increasing the number of laps for practice up to ten. That will give time to set up not only wings etc but changes to engines, fuel and tyres.

You don’t need more laps for engine changes, it’s either new or old. There is no change to setup. Fuel will be almost exactly the same each time as well. Also, don’t only do one type of tires, do SS, S and M to get tire/performance readings on each tire. And then just write down your setup so next time you race there you can find the perfect setup easier.

He's not talking about setup or fuel consumption but to evaluate the effect of different supplier combinations with their different bonus values.

About the suggestion, I don't really see much use but also nothing against, as there's no real testing limit in iGP Manager anyway. So why not and it could come at a small cost, like booking an extra 10 lap training session for a token.

Or you could just do QR in private lobby

Doesn't QR balance the cars for each race? Or am I mistaken?

The practice laps right now are so random that even with 10 laps of practise you probably wouldn't be able to tell precisely which supplier combination is the best for a race.

Trial and error over multiple races and seasons and noting down which stats feel better at each track is the way to go regarding this one.

And actually reading the tooltips of each stat. It's quite easy to deduce tbh.
