Hi,

Before time is spent on costumes, hats and glasses for the Festive season, now Halloween has passed, would there be any chance of the pit lane/pit lane exit bugs to be looked at by the developers and fixed?  🤷🏼‍♂️

Hi Kris,

I really appreciate your comment, even the ironic part. Let me explain something to you, to make a good videogame you need a multidisciplinary team, that is, several people with different roles and skills each. We have web developers, unity developers, simulator developers, artists and many more roles. Everyone works in their own field and together they form a synergy. Saying that we should stop making cosmetic articles and instead solve a bug (for which you haven't given any description, graphical attachment or examples) is like going to a law firm and saying that more commercial lawsuits should be solved and less criminal lawsuits. Just as in law firms there are different types of lawyers here there are different types of developers. Which means that while some are working on adding cosmetic items (web) others are working on improving the in-race experience (unity).

Hi Jose.   Thanks for the reply.  I’ll try to be less ironic.

I absolutely understand that different people are assigned to different aspects.   I’m just asking if this very well known issue could be looked at perhaps a little extra resource to make the game play experience much better.  In really competitive leagues, the pit lane/exit “bug” or problem is really evident - and can ruin races purely due to where in the pit lane you stop.

I’m sure if you still play you have experienced it, and there are probably many managers who will verify.  I’ll add some screenshots of a recent Bahrain race I was in - where I was on exactly the same strat (so same fuel loads) as the car (red one) that pitted at the same time as my car (orange one).   On the first example the screen shot half way through the lap was after having to use Kers to catch up through the winding section, such was the distance it had shot ahead.   The second examples are the very next pit stop.

The next update may very well solve the problems, but it really is something that could do with looking at generally if at all possible.  👍

P.s. can’t seem to add a screenshot here Jose?
