Hi,
it would be nice if engine wear would be proportional to Push Level and Boost usage.
This way managers can save motors when low power is needed. Much like ECU mapping used in real world racing.

Yes and no.

Yes: maybe combine it with cooling attribute, so cars with higher cooling would wear less. Cooling has no importance now, might be interesting to change that

No: if boost use impacts engine performance, people would save boost for last lap even more then happens already. It would become a last lap boost game

I think it does slightly affect engine wear already. I might be wrong here though. Can someone confirm or correct me!?

The way the game is set up right now, in a competitive league you are forced to buy new engines every race anyway so at this point in time, that wouldn't be very relevant.

Once the balancing update will arrive we should debate this again once we see have the new generation of cars will behave, but I do agree that engine wear should have a higher effect in races. Cars with a lower Cooling stat should have a bit more handicap towards the end of a race (even if they buy new engines before).

I think Push Level does affect wear but it's negligible as everyone usually replaces their engines each race.
