I want a new morale system can be added into the game. For example, after a good race (where you finish much better than the sponsor's objective), the morale of the driver will increase and give them a slight performance boost in next race. Similarly, the morale of staff will increase and there will be a chance that they will work more effective (better research, reduce stamina used for training, etc). If the team has 2 drivers, sometimes a better position in the race compared to the teammate can also give them more motivation and boost.

Unless you want to increase even more the gap between good/great managers from the rest, that's the way to do it. Once you get on a winning streak you would be un-matched and competitiveness between you and the rest would suddenly drop. It would also impact weaker managers, those who miss races and low level managers if they are required to get good results, because they would lose Morale boosters and sponsor bonus, making it a lot harder, if not impossible, to keep progressing in the game. So the season would be basically over after 5 races instead of a fair battle all season long 🤷‍♂️
This is not the way to deal with Morale.

Maybe the opposite, add complacency into the game? Where the driver who wins also gets a bit complacent so it’s just a tad harder to get back to back wins?

I think this would work. If you are a top team your sponsors should be saying finish in top 3. If you do well done increase in morale if not morale goes down. Making it harder to stay at the top and giving lower teams a chance to jump up. Lower teams sponsors should be saying finish in top 15 so yes they are low ranked cars but they should be able to obtain this objective. Therefore increasing the morale of divers and then moving up the ladder breaking down the distance to the top drivers.

No, thanks to both. The first could easily produce a cause effect loop as winning a race would make it easier and easier to win the next. Seasons with one team winning and others stocking design to break the streak and start their own for the second half doesn't sound fun to me.

But also punishing teams for winning isn't competition. It's something for arcade like some NfS titles to keep the player in non-stop action. Also if the effect is strong enough it creates situations like those rallye stages were the top teams raced right to the finish line just to stop in front of it to hand over the stage win to a driver happy to get a stage win but doesn't mind being hopeless the next stage starting first and clearing a path on the track. Again there are games where this has a place but in a race manager the players should strife for wins or leading the championship in any race even though admittedly trying not to win at the wrong time but still keeping the team in striking distance to perform the deadly blow seizing championship just at the right time at seasons end would be a nice tactical challenge.
