What did you try to do?
Try and buy a driver who's on my shortlist.
Driver does not belong to another team
Only shows padlock when I go to contract.

What happened instead?
Cannot buy them.

Hi Steve.

This is not a bug, rather it's the result of a number of changes to the market that have been introduced since July. You can read more in the Changelog

Because of these changes to overcome bot exploits you can no longer purchase staff that aren't in the market and have never been employed by your team. But you can take advantage of the shortlisting function to tag your own drivers and staff so that you can easily find them and buy back in the event you miss their contracts expiring.
