A Way HoF Can Be Updated.

The HoF has long used a system that can be exploited and ends up not reflecting the true potential of great managers who usually never even appear on the list.

So i thought, how about tying the HoF to a tournament instead? This automatically solves the exploitation issue.

The Tournament:

This can hold the last weekend of each month and a system of time trials can be used.

A certain amount of tokens will be required to register for the tournament. No idea how much would be widely acceptable but it's the right move from a business point of view.

Friday - Free practice (Auto as it already is)
Saturday: Qualifying (outlap & flying lap)
Sunday: Sprint race (25 laps like the shortest form currently in iGP)

Saturday/Sunday would have to be a clear track for each manager.  

All should have a time limit, say 1 AM - 10.59 PM UK time.

So using Saturday's Qualifying for example, you can decide to start your Qualifying lap at the best time you 'think'.

Tiers:

To be fair, there should be tiers  taking the skills of managers into consideration. You can choose to register for:

Rookie, Pro or Elite in the tournament.

A rookie tournament will have level 10 cars, Pro level 15 and elite level 20... The cars should be tournament cars provided by iGP making sure everyone starts on the same foot.

Cars:

To make it fun and see some sort of differences in the cars, a set number of development points should be allocated. It could again be 10, 15 & 20 just like the level caps.

Results:

Managers are ranked according to the best times set in both quali and the live sprint race and this in turn is then used to populate the HoF.

Rewards:

For signing up, a set amount of valuable stuff should be rewarded. This will also make more people interested and look forward to the end of the month.

My suggestion of tangible rewards would be a set number of account level XP, driver #1 experience and some tokens. Everything will need to obviously be scaled down to the placement of the managers and capped at 100 representing the 100 on the HoF.

This still seems a bit crude but could really be something with some refinement from all the great minds in here.

really great idea there, this looks like a multi-server league where all managers can apply for and show what they can do. Hope this can be introduced soon 

I agree this could be fun. But don’t milk it like maybe for Christmas and other events
