Hi,

I am having a problem with the 2D viewer today.
I can't get it to display the cars in the correct order in 2D today (was fine yesterday) Also the cars fly across the screen into the pits.
Any idea what this may be?

 I have:
Cleared cache
Upgraded to Java 8
Tried another browser
Rebooted system
Ran rootkit scan
ran AV scan

see the screenshots at:
http://grab.by/FiBk  - The leader here is #3 and #1 is in p11
http://grab.by/Fj7I - here #32 is flying into the pits. those cars that have pitted are shown around the screen, everyone else is in one long line is no particular order!

I seem to be the only one having this problem?

It just sounds like very bad lag to me, but this is a strange case of it. Normally any lag would resolve by relaunching the viewer, unless you were having internet problems. How many times did you restart the viewer? Also, do you have the race ID?

Hi Jack,
It happened during my race tonight (no one else in chat had any issues) and also happens when spectating other races. No idea why, I am not noticing any internet problems, but saying that there have been delays now and again where I have had to refresh pages.

The upgrade to Java 8 made the drs indicators show a bit closer (within 2 corners) to where the drs zone should have been, but I can't figure out why none of the cars were in order. Also at the end of the race the last lap the cars continued for half a lap before disappearing. I should note that the timing on screen was correct, just the cars/numbers going around the track were incorrectly located. If I hovered over one with the mouse the correct position would be displayed but they were'nt in any particular order. ( i.e I was showing on the track display as the 3rd and 5th cars but actual positions were p4 and p16, also the leader was showing half a lap ahead/behind when it was a 0.2s gap)

I was just wondering if anybody else had a similar issue before I delve further into my system/network configs

Oh bother, seems I was on the last day of my subscription :(
Just past midnight and I no longer have access to the 2D viewer anyway! Great timing.

Edit:
OK, I deleted "temporary internet files" from Control Panel-->Java->General Tab, settings->Delete (and renewed my subscription) and spectate now seems to be working as it should. Now, whether it was the Java cache or the renewing of the subs that did it, who knows :D

That also happened to me on the last day of my subscription:

Timetable has been ok.
But 2D Viewer did show up a fantasy race, that had nothing to do with what happened on the timetable.
