Not sure if this has been mentioned but I know an upcoming update will include more options for hosts.

One option I would recommend would be a toggle to perhaps disable ‘wet races’. IMO they are totally pointless. However I appreciate there will be some that enjoy that sort of thing.

Another option for me would be to not use real world weather and create a mini weather system in game. Players can check a changing forecast and perhaps mini climates created to make wet races more interesting. For example races starting slightly wet(inters) getting to levels of needed wet tyres and then changing again. I know this happens every now and again however most wet races (and I have raced a few) tend to just have a constant water level thus no need to change tyres.

Plus obviously a toggle for ‘windmills’ and ‘flags’

About the weather system, I talked about that in a previous thread. Everyone said that there is no problem with this system AT ALL, and it makes racing more interesting as the weather changes every minute. Besides, the real world weather system helps them to save effort and work, cause they don't have to code an own weather system. And as many managers stated, random will destroy the game.

For windmills and flags, you can check the "Collisions" thread, where Jack has stated clearly about this.
