Hello everyone, I know very well that this is a game, but I think it is wrong to talk only about the game and not about what really happens to us!

I think that the situation, created by the Russians and Putin, without reason attacking a state with excuses that are neither in heaven nor on earth, unfortunately I am very afraid that this war will go for worse if they do not brake. I hope that they will not get to the point of using nuclear power, because that would be the end of everything!!!

From Putin, we learned that he remained with the cold war mentality, saying that he wants to recreate the USSR, and threatening many states with serious consequences if they intervene in the conflict.

I don't know about you, but I'm very afraid in the events that follow.

I would like to know what your thoughts are and also discuss current issues. Happy weekend to all and we are very much rooting for PEACE!!!

I just was waiting that someone mentioned that topic. And I very much agree with you. What happens in Ukraine at the moment is something that is, in global perspective, nothing unusual. Wars happen all the time and are still a big problem. Yet most of the time, it has religious reasons and is just at countries that are underdeveloped anyway and not in that populous regions. But war in Europe was something that we wouldn't have expected to happen after the fall of Yugoslavia. Now, we have a dude that controls the biggest country on earth that still thinks his country is too small. And if that wouldn't be bad enough, he presents misinformation like they only want to 'save the Ukrainian people from neo bad germans (you know what I mean)' and that it isn't a war. In addition, he also threats that if anyone would dare to intervene in any kind, he might as well use nuclear power and basically destroy everything. Even I, over 1,000 km away from Ukraine, am very scared because of the situations. This is a topic that needs to be mentioned. Everywhere. I personally hope that they can get to a solution ASAP so it won't be as bad as it can get. Russia is losing their most powerful supporters as well with China and already lost the US after the election last year. Meanwhile, Ukraine has the entire NATO behind them who will help where they can. With that, I can just say that I still can't process the stuff that happened since yesterday. Please, stop war immediately all around the globe.

The guy is a f**king idiot and needs to be taken out ASAP.

History shows religion is mostly cause of war. I am not religious but equally respect anyone who is, I don't hate anyone in life, with exception of Putin right now. I don't care for his threats, I won't hurt a fly, however I wouldn't think twice about making die slowly and painfully.

The people of Ukraine need real support, sanctioning cash isn't going to stop this pr*ck.

The problem, everyone scared because of his military might and no doubt will use nuclear if it needs. I don't believe his army men and women can shoot innocent people and think they are justified.

The bigger problem in this world, the media don't tell the truth. Its not widely reported, but I read that USA have invested in labs in Ukraine, for bio chemical development... if you are Russia, do you feel threatened.. if this is true, is USA right or wrong to have this facility..?

Just like covid, we don't get accurate, factual information. I'm not sure what is the truth, but for sure, no war is justified and I think the human race history is disgraceful for so much.. Afghanistan has been left a mess, no weapons of mass destruction where found in Iraq.

Right now, I'm worried for the people of Ukraine and NATO should be ashamed for not providing a stronghold resistance to overwhelm  Russia. Whilst the SAS take out Putin.

What a f**ked up world, the leaders provide.!

News of a few minutes ago, it seems that he wants to do the same thing with Sweden and Finland, if they choose to join NATO, they will have the same fate.

Sorry, but Putin rules Russia... Why does he have to decide about this choice?

Why doesn't he leave the world alone and do his own business?

I can't right now. I just came back from football Training, my one teammate there still has family back in Ukraine, luckily in the parts that haven't been attacked yet. But that he might do the same with Finland and Sweden, wow. That's next level sh*thousery. And the fact that the EU made 'the hardest sanctions ever in history' with not trading anymore is also bad. I am ashamed of the entire parliament of Russia about what the f*ck they're talking about, I am ashamed of the EU because they don't give a f*ck about it, I am ashamed of the plans and - most importantly - I am ashamed of EVERY SINGLE POLITICIAN because talking doesn't help. And the fact that China is backing out is kinda sus as well, because we know the stuff with Taiwan... I mean, no one cares about the people in Charkiw, L'wiw, Odessa and the other cities getting attacked. Of course Kiev is most important of them all, but the total amount of the population of the attacked cities is around 15 million, I believe. (btw, that's almost double the amount of Switzerland and 3-4 times as much as Norway.)
The World is a f*cked up place.

New updates about the crisis:
The hacker group Anonymous has now declared Russia the cyber war. They hope to disturb the Russian government enough that they focus on that more. The news we need.
The Ukrainian government also tries everything, Kiev seems to be an extremely hard thing, since yesterday Russia is struggling there - with half of their troops deployed.
They also want to unbuild all street signs to spread the Russian troops because the mobile network is so extremely bad Google Maps, Apple Maps etc. don't work there.
And now to a bit more 'Stupid sh*t with the Russians': Rumours have it that Putin wants to re-establish the d*ath penalty, probably for the real Russian heroes that risk their freedom and long prison serves only to demonstrate for the stop of the war. Just... why?
At least the other mighty states are starting to wake up, they want to exclude Russia from Swift, the bank network that controls most of the international payments, want to stop getting gas from Russia (Germany is only stopping them for now, but we put loads of pressure on the government that we like to freeze a tiny bit more than having war(nvm, we agreed now), and we sent military helmets and baz**kas to Ukraine soon). Let's just hope it'll end soon enough😔
Few more supplies are sent to Ukraine. The Netherlands have sent 500 Ground-Air-Missiles, the Czech Republic has also sent some weapons (I don't remember which kind of weapons) and the US sent 350 million dollars for upgrading what's left. So, for now, the Russians definitely have at least 100,000 confirmed troops in Ukraine, but we don't know how many are not confirmed just yet. This is just so incredibly gruesome, I can't imagine this still that there's a war around 1,300 km away from my home and we can't act enough. And my school doesn't even care about it, on Wednesday, we talked about the possibilities of that happening. Then it happened and we didn't do anything apart from homework and stuff. Explanation is so important, also how to behave if the war spreads (what I can imagine very well from the plans). This is a very dark time.

Think I will use this thread to keep you all updated about the situation, I'll watch the news every evening when I can cuz sports and school and stuff.
First of all, we have another case of 'Stupidity with Putin': he talks about "the aggression of the NATO". In other words: he has his nuclear helpers on full attack. At least Zelensky has agreed to maybe talk about a solution with the Russians to stop the war. That would be at the Belarussian border.
The NATO responds with helping if needed and is sending more troops and other military assistings to the East of Europe. New sanctions will partially exclude Russian banks from Swift as well, what would cost loads of money.
More countries are closing their airspace to Russian airplanes. Many countries are also trying to upgrade their own militaries wherever it's possible.
Every European country will also try to find new partners to import their gas and oil.
As we have to, in basically every country there are demonstrations for peace in Europe and the world with focus on Ukraine.
And now onto the fightings there: Charkiw in the East has been a battlefield for the entire day, but despite everything, Ukraine keeps it for now. Kiev hasn't been that much, only the surroundings are getting more and more Russian. Apart from that, they were attacking pipelines and factories mostly in the east.
That's it for today and let's hope tomorrow I'll be able to send positive news again.

Yeah blame NATO for stirring up s**t like this

Further more, why would Zelensky wanted Ukraine join NATO?

Of course, Russia sees that as a threat......

First of all, I don't know what you mean that someone blames the NATO. I only said that that's what Putin meant. And Zelensky would want to join the NATO so they will immediately get help instead of this entire discussion thing, meaning it would be Russia vs half of the world. If (let's think Ukraine would have joined the NATO last year) it would have happened, Russia probably would never had started the war.

Now most civil russian people go to some place of cities and protrest to war and claim peace!

Most EU states help with military struments to Ucraine, and speak for "voluntary" people to help in battles.

Why Putin continuous to push on the system of defence with nuclear missiles and other military flot.

Putin talk for the sanctions he receive and speak "are intollerable, very aggressive and during for me, for this motive i've take decision for started my military defence strategy"

Why this decision? Never state help with troups, and this decision are very scared for all world and create panic for the nuclear.

I read some news, and one of this talk about of point missile launches, are three and one of this arrive in Spain, Ireland!!!!
If take this decision, all EU people are in red alert and peoples have afraid status.

I'm terrorized for this situation!!!

I can just imagine him pulling his plan to the end. Whatever he is doing, he is getting more and more dangerous every day. This is honestly starting to worry me more than it should. I can't even look at his face without having shivers running down my spine anymore. And the way he talks about it, like he hasn't done any bit of it and if Ukraine is a big threat for Russia. As if it doesn't span like one fifth or something of the entire land mass...

NATO just come down there to stir the drama pretty much.

Think about it: Ukraine joining NATO is like if let's say Miami seperates from the US and joins alliance with Cuba and Russia, the Americans would see that as a threat, so it won't be surprising if the US attacks Miami.

Ukraine joining EU's fine, it's just.....why do Zelensky wanted to join NATO? That's basically the reason why Russia attacks them since the first place.....

Mate, I think you are misspelling Russia. They are the only ones creating drama here. Zelensky wants to join the NATO for safety and defense in that war. And Ukraine was a more western-orientated country since 1991 and the first controversy was in 2014 with Russia annexing Crimea. The 23 years in-between nothing really happened. After the collapse of the Soviet Union, most of the countries that were independent then went off the Communism as quickly as possible. No real problems were occuring, no territorial disputes or whatever. Suddenly, Russia (or better said just Putin) comes around the corner and thinks that not only Crimea, Ukrainian territory for 23 years, belongs to Russia only because there are some Russians living there, but also some parts of the Ukrainian East because of Russians. Another 8 years pass with Ukraine, as expected not giving the just-called territory up as it got to them 31 years prior, suddenly finds themselves with the Russian military around the countries borders. Few days later, they get into your country. What would you do? Search every help you find, including NATO as 3 of it's neighboring countries are in it already. No threat for the Russians as they don't want to march into Moscow randomly like the Russian troops did with Kyiv, but instead send help to the fighting zones like Kharkiv, Kyiv, Crimea etc. to defend them. So, I don't really see a point of the NATO being a "threat".

Yes Nico, your affirmation is correct, but there are another detailes:

1- in 1994 stipulated a contract with Russia, USA, Ucraine, to deneuclarisation of Ucraine territory, and all of this goes to Russia.
2- Kaliningrad: well, if they see the geographic map, Kaliningrad is Russian territory, and around there are Nato territories; these are Poland and Lituania.
3- Nato territories: why create a problem for Ucraine decision, when there are some states are Nato members and take borderline with Russia; those are Estonia, Lettonia, Lituania.

Explaine the 2 point: Russia declaire and pretende from the states Nato members don't have a nuclear missil, but why Kaliningrad have a point of missile launches nuclear?  Remeber around Kaliningrad have Poland and Lituania, and in Italy talks probably is the same problem with Danzica territory on 1939 and started 2' war.

Another problem of thise 25-30 years is making new nuclear and expanded the quantity. I remember, in 90 years firm a contract with USA, Russia, Uk, France, Cina and others, with have a target for nuclear textate and don't have possibility to expanded a numer.... well Russia create and expanded to nuclear.... and in 2016 created a most dangerous nuclear missil, call "Satan 2", and is very terrifing. Russia going into the big sanction for this contract, don't respect the rules.

Today, Lavrov talk: "Crimea isn't talk with negotiations" "The tird war only combact with Nuclear" "Putin family goes to the bunker".... those affirmacions are very drammatic and terrifing for all worl.

When start this war, every nights don't sleep well! I'm very teerified for all!

Hadn't had that topic in history or politics classes yet, so thanks for the information. But idgaf what Lavrov says, acting like Ukraine is at fault of everything. Annnnd I keep forgetting Kaliningrad, like why is that even Russian?

Yesterday we were happy to refuel for 2.11€ per litre here in Germany with prices being elsewhere at around 2.20 to 2.30€ a litre. Haven't watched food prices and stuff, but we are all starting to worry. My school is on the run for some solidary events, yet I feel we try to ignore the problem more than to talk about it. When I talk with people from other towns, other schools, they had no real work at the start as they talked only about it. And we sat there doing the same as the weeks before. With troops moving to Poland Putin shows his worries as he can't get Ukraine under control that well, showing the situations in Mariupol and Kyiv where the civilians defend the towns very well. They are attacking the normal people that can do the least about it all. And moving towards other states show that he thinks about losing the war. The reason why it's Poland is because they thought about sending their MiG-fighters to Ukraine. I think that Putin will not stop until he gets rather killed or winning Ukraine. After that, rumors have it that he wants more parts of eastern Europe. With NATO being present there, it might escalate sooner than expected. We know how quickly it went with Ukraine, not even two weeks after the first troops were there they were in the country...
