This game is not an F1 game, it's like saying Motorsport Manager is an F1 game. It borrows some elements from the real world but this game is for the most part intended to be original. Many motorsports have soft hard and wet tyres and the occurrence of F1 driver names is either coincidence or because managers chose to use those names. Assetto Corsa doesn't just suddenly become an F1 game if I change my name to Lewis Hamilton xD
I don't think this game should even try to be like F1 either, it should leave that to the official F1 games and instead try to be great in its own way by giving people the freedom to do all sorts of things with rules and format. That way if some people want to make their leagues identical to F1 they can while others try to create more fun and original formats.
Anyway league rules will soon be introduced and should allow for proper 2 tyre rule regulations. I think it should come out by 2024 ?

Ah.... thank you. That was what I was looking for, really looking forward to having this option.... in 2024. On the F1 issue you'll have to forgive me as I have only been playing since 2018 so possibly I am limited in my experience in iGP, however, everyone I've met playing this game is here because they love F1, the chit chat is constantly about F1, we have F1 votes two or three times a season and managers like me spice up the season by pretending we're a real team, with pre race trailers and stories based on F1 which I'm told adds to the fun and the experience. We've even just copied the unmentionable and banned the Russian GP from our calendar. So you see it's an easy comparison to make. Hopefully the forthcoming introduction of the integrated two tyre rule will further close the discrepancy between the big boys (usually visitors from another league as we have recently experienced) as at least you now seemed to have tamed the DRS trains which has made racing a lot fairer. Keep up the good work iGP!
P.S. I fully understand that for licensing reasons iGP has to keep well away from any copyright issues and distance itself with F1, that makes total sense. However, the original point that Andy was making was that leagues are allowed to set tyres rules but have no integrated way of enforcing them. He seemed to be asking for help and answers which seems totally fair.
N.B. You might want to change your spiel on the main website and Google Play, it could be misleading:
