I am fed-up of racing people who deliberately sacrifice their 2nd car to guarantee that their 1st car wins the race. You should be aiming to do the best that you can do (i.e. a 1-2); but because of how the points system works, you can deliberately screw over your 2nd car, finish 1-4, and score more points than the other player who was racing normally. It just feels so dirty and cheap.

Erm, there’s 1 car racing as well. I did both, had some championships in 2 car, now I only do 1 car and I can tell you, strategically it’s different but biggest perk for me is not having the extra stress about 2nd car drs or boost and constant switching drivers. 1 car is more care-free imho

Like Antonio mentioned, just join a 1 car league. On another note though, I see nothing dirty and cheap in it. Its a race management game and the manager can choose to manage his/her race however they want.

Team orders... Something that is often employed in real life. Sometimes it makes sense to sacrifice one of the cars to achieve the win. A 1-4 = 37 points, a 1-5 = 35 and even a 1-6 = 33 which is the same as a 2-3 but the win is better because the lead driver bags an extra 7 points for the driver's title.

Not only does it improve your own points haul, as a bonus it also takes at least 7 points away from your competitor. IMHO it's a legitimate strategy and one which I am happy to use if the opportunity arises.
