I know it's controversial, but part of the fun of igp manager for me was finding good drivers/staff, and experimenting with different heights and weights. I'm sure others will agree that is should atleast be an option that leagues can choose to enable.

Yo...
No because in real life there is a minimum weight and we know what a crazy huge difference of 5 kg did when it was enabled.
Yes because it would be correct to reward those who trained their drivers.

It's actually not a bad idea if weight can be limited to 51kg. That way it benefits both male and female drivers otherwise it would be game breaking for those that can't afford to spend tokens to have the ever elusive tall female drivers.

If they turned off weight, they should also turn off the effect height has.

Or even them all so 51kg is minimum for both and 190cm is just as common for women.

Or have it all on and make it so that lighter female drivers have race pace advantage, but taller male drivers qualify better, so that players then make a choice based on what approach they want

What if lighter drivers wore out their tires faster than heavier drivers? (this can happen irl in really light cars because lighter drivers slide more)

Yeah and bald drivers have less helmet friction so they should be faster too

A league option to activate/deactivate weight it’s an interesting idea but for the game as a whole I don’t want to see driver weights turned back on in the same form it was previously. The 5kg difference between men and women was just too much pace wise.

After it has been rebalanced I’m all for it coming back.

Mate, I race irl... it sounds weird but it's true, in some superlight cars (under 300kg w/driver) lighter drivers slide more and wear out their tires faster so your sarcastic comment doesn't mean anything.

I agree, leagues should have the choice
