Lost 3 seconds just on pit stop

i lost 3 seconds during pit stop, i just checked with my time laps with the other competitors time, and during the pit stop of the stint 1 of the bahrein GP, i lost all the positions i gained during the race and created a big gap between me and the rest of the players, so i had to used tons of kers to be back on the drs zone.

its the second time on this week that i have troubles that ruined my races, im not in a good position on the championship and i need to fight for points.

also i have a good car, with a good driver and every single race im qualyfing on the last positions dont matter what i do, its just no way to play like this, its just race for finishing p15 or worst.

This had an affect on my race at Italy during Global Cup Series as well! Went from top 3 in the train to near the back of the train as we all pitted together. My suspicion is fuel economy, but that many places effectively removed me from contention during the race. Could it be related to us all now having a single pit box on screen? Previously the individual pit box had a factor, especially when someone ran out of fuel ahead of you int he lane, but now it feels like there's no advantage to building a fast qualifying car for these races as a fuel econ car will gain you all the places back during the pit stops!. While this may fix issues of others running out of fuel ahead in the pits, at top speed tracks like Monza it nullifies any track position advantage in favor of fuel economy development ( was my feeling in race at least ). could there maybe be some amount of middle grounds? reactivate positional pit boxes but allow overtaking as people run out in the pits? (i.e. ghosting through a car during an overtake in the 3d simulation. I believe this should be looked at, as it can undo a whole stints worth of work, or even a whole race, without any error attached to it such as running out of fuel, even while on the same strategy
