So, when we have to run in the same track for not the first time, we may want to use our original setup in the previous race, is it possible to add the data back to the circled part in this video?

Did you know that you can save up to 10 notes?

The notes can help you to record the setup for races

Unless you spend the exact design points as the previous season the setup changes

On your profile page below Shortlist.

A lot of managers record all the relevant details in a spreadsheet or failing that simply write it down in a notebook (hint it’s not just set up you need) and no design points do not affect set up.  Set up is only impacted by driver height so if you change drivers the previous ideal set up may need to be adjusted.

Talent also impacts ideal setup but for the rest I agree

You got it !! You could also pay 3 tokens for ideal setup and you won’t have to write it down ?

Do you want a best strategy button? I don't understand your suggestion. You are the player and you have to do your best in order to win. If you want everything automatic, where is your role in this game?

Anyway the setup is just a minigame inside the game. I'm not 100% sure but it influences the qualifying only.

Set up influences the actual race as well, but it is just a small part of what the Manager needs to do to be successful. I think you hit the nail on the head by making the OP aware of the need for interaction as that is the whole point of the game.
