Wets = Inters

Hey ? 

Myself and others in our league just raced Canada, it was wet practice and qualy and race. We all set strategy for wet tyres. But at race start we had inters on, I could only change 1 driver setting to wet whilst on the grid.

Do you set Advanced Strategy and if so to what?

Did you set your strategy like this? If yes, i know why, And i have a solution. However, it requires you to be online and into the live race BEFORE it starts

I'm in Jodys league ,we need the advance settings for fuel.
So like Jody I got caught out as well, surley if you set up on wets just because you change you fuel it shouldn't affect your tyre choice just because you have to turn the advance settings on.
Cant you move the fuel litres and separate it from tyre choice .
Also like jody I couldn't change tyres on the grid,  throw in the fact when the race ends I lose control over my drivers I'm on the verge of packing it all in .

Let me tell you some possible solution(s),

Solution 1: 

1. Switch on “Advanced Setting”


2. Click Full Wet tire (the one on far right) of the first choice


3. click the “+” icon when it reaches 2mm (upper box)


4. click the “+” icon when it reaches at LEAST 2 laps and select intermediate tire (green one) or you may just add more laps and select some slick tires.

Solution 2:

1. attend the live race around 3-5 minutes into race, e.g. you race start at 18:00, it’s suggested to join the live race between 17:55-17:58 to do final setup


2. hit the “toolbox” icon on the top of screen


3. select Intermediate/Full Wet tire for Stint 1

If you can’t attend live race/you are joining an “offline league”, it is suggested to use Solution 1.
