Hi Guys,

I play this game for 1 month now, and things are getting better.

But there is something I don't get.

Last race, my drivers qualyfied 1 and 2

But 3--4 laps after start or pit stop, they lose 4-5 seconds a lap ! How is it possible ? Bad tactic ? Bad tyres ?

I definitely don't get it

Thanks for your help folks !

What's your Push Level (PL)?
I guess you push to hard. Tyres get to hot and you loose lots of time. In Bahrain with medium tyres I guess PL2 is right.

Do you attend your races? You can see the temp of your tyres roughly. The color of them is the indicator. Dark red is way to hot. Blue is to cold. It should be a grey/pink/light red depending on your tyre brand.

When I attend the race it's always PL3. And when I don't attend, times are way more regular. I wear Bridgerock.

You need to attend races and have the most push level you can with keeping the tyre colour gray
Harder tyres allow a higher push level

When u attend, u should adjust PL continuesly:
- Start/leaving pits -> higher PL
- lap 2 lower PL
- lap 3 to about 50% tyre life lowest PL
- then slightly higher PL
- inlap/final lap even higher/highest PL

Adjust PL to keep tyres always at right temp.

But keep in mind: tracks differ! At Monaco higher PL is needed. U might never go below PL3. U might drive final two laps in PL5. Thats impossible at Belgium. PL 1 or 2 depending on compound is right choice there. And we are speaking of same temp, compound, brand!

I suggest watching these vids: https://igpmanager.com/play/?url=forum-thread/4637

It might take some hours but there is plenty of valuable info.
