Really like the first idea James, think its a great little feature that could be introduced, not too sure on the interactive part though mate, what would happen for non attendees?

Really like this idea, thanks for creating a new thread for it.

It's obviously not a priority right now, but it's definitely something we can look at for future updates.

None Attendees nothing would happen to them they would have normal pit stop times.
People doing it themselves on the other hand during the races might get an advantage of quicker pit stop times, likes of someone using a touch screen device may it be a Phone/Tablet/Computer would have a even bigger advantage as they are not moving a mouse about they are just tapping the screen ;)

I saw the image on My Racing Career & it got me thinking about it. There is bound to be some genius could animate people working on a car & add a timer to it, instead of just seeing a dot or a small car stopping and then going again.
Thought it would be cool to see something happening. Even if it was wee stickmen around the car while it is stopped in the pit lane is better than nothing ;)

Way too much, what happens if you miss the front jack man? (unlike some drivers with dodgy brakes)

Having a popup though may also be a good point to introduce the possibility of penalising managers stopping both cars at the same time. At the moment there's no penalty for stacking as both cars are serviced at the same time.

Having the 2nd car wait until the first has finished + a few seconds  would encourage a different strategy for each driver within a team.to ensure they don't both stop at the same time.

Aye I was waiting on someone saying that about clicking & double stacking :)
Lollipop, Front & Rear jack men would be covered under the same click 2 clicks stop and lift, drop and go.
Wheelmen would be 2 clicks wheel off, wheel on. you maybe want advance 3 clicks each for using gun men
Fuel men 2 clicks hose in, hose out.
But that's just not important just seeing it in action is the cool bit :)

Image could show other drivers front wing if double stacked.

Seems we going dead in here :(

Showing timed pit stop on screen would also allow for iGP to control the length of time the pit stops takes easier. Fixed time for pit stop adding mistakes by the crew & problems like fuel hose getting stuck or a wheel gun failure or stuck wheel nut.

300s of a second lost here and there, though annoying could happen very easily. Even the best trained crews hit problems at some point.

been that long since I have seen my pit crew mess up I don't know how long a messed up pit stop takes
but a stuck wheel nut could cost 0.295 seconds
stuck fuel hose 0.310 seconds
broken wheel gun 0.456 seconds

so instead of normal 4.3 pit stop you might see 4.756 cause of broken wheel gun. :)
What about front wing changes I have seen that happen in a race but not to me

As I B pointed out time lost over shooting pit box & hitting front Jack person

Stacking in the pits should come into this game cause both driver pit at same time.

Pitting time should be:

Enters pit time + 1 second per 15L + 1second per errors + exit pit
We should can choose our pit strategy: faster or safe (faster increase errors chance, safe increase pit time).

If given the choice fast normal or safe pit stop surely safe wins?
An error with fast or normal pit stop you would end up with the overall time of a safe pit stop

No because theres not ever error.

Just my crazy way of thinking.

Chance of error
fast 99%
normal 50%
safe 1%

I think it would be a good idea because it will make the game more real life.

Change tyres approximatively 3-4 seconds, fuel loading start at same time and 1 second per 15L so if load 60L pit stop should be 4-5seconds
