Does any here play the Hardcore Endurance mode?

Will the career mode returns next year?

I was about to buy this one but I don't anymore because lack of career mode and safety car. It's not worth it.

It's got more bugs that the film Bugs Life :D but it's still great fun.

The Multiplayer Hopper Sessions take forever to find a lobby & sometimes when you get in it will not let you do the qualifying.
Hardcore endurance 50% race is the best for wheel to wheel racing as the AI is Legendry difficulty & it's full grid, the normal 25% races AI is only half grid & on Hard difficulty far too easy.

Spend at least 600 minutes out on track.

I love the way the car can slide out from below you if you get on the power too much in the corners with traction turned off makes you feel like your Kimi spinning the car :)

I've never been able to get in to a session online through the hopper system, it's like it is switched off because I can't beleive that no one is online.  I have raced some friends online but trying to get a public lobby open.. nada.  I only want to play online, so I'm disappointed about that part.  The game is superb otherwise, just let me play with others.

Public IP Address NAT Type 1 or DMZ Assigned IP Address NAT Type 2 you don't need to worry about port forwarding as they open all ports.
But if you are using a Private IP Address NAT Type 2 you will need to add ports to your router as UPnP doesn't open all the ports just the main one opens ports TCP and UDP port 3074.

PlayStation Network and SCEA Game Servers
All games published by SCEA (first-party) and the PlayStation Network may use the following ports for communication with SCEA (first-party) game servers:
•TCP Ports: 10050, 10051, 10040 - 10060
•UDP Ports: 50000 - 60000

USB or Bluetooth Headsets

By adding the above ports to you router list UPnP will automatically add them to your IP Address, If don't use UPnP you will have to connect the ports yourself to your IP Address.

I have tried & tested games with & without port forwarding on a Private IP Address, although the games still works without opening ports they sometimes have button lag. Much better to have the ports open or use either a Public or DMZ Address. All the above ports are Official Ports & supplied by PlayStation Network & not me trying to hack your computer :D

Maybe nobody was online at the times you had tried to connect, thats the problem can't see how many people are online anymore

Have to say the new update has improved hopper connective greatly in multiplayer.
Near enough instant and lots of people online in the 25% category wheel to wheel & calendar greats.
50% hardcore endurance seems nobody likes a challenge. lucky if you find 1 person online.

Well I started the race in last place so was easy enough to get ;)

I dont use a wheel so i am just always on intermediate difficulty and my river skills are not very good

Tip I would give you is to go into settings & customise the controls.

accelerator to cross
brake to square
gear up to R2
gear down to L2
DRS to R1

Does anyone have any car setup advice?

TBH I was too lazy to do a championship season to get a setup for each track.
All I done was select setup 1 Full Wet Setup.
Changed the Wings to dry 2/2, Transmission 100/100, Chamber and Toe to dry settings and tyres Front 18psi and Rear 17psi. Saved it & use it on every track.

That's my personal setup for every track in the game aside from hockenheim ring but if you want I can give it to you

High downforce slow on straights but fast in corners video shows 1:40 in Malysia :( try what I said you will get 1:36 without DRS :D

What I want to know is how to extend the tyre life.
The reason I use wet ride-height and suspension is cause it is kinder on the tyres but they only last 2laps longer than the full dry setup

well it would all come down to 1. smooth driving  2.no/minimal lock ups or wheelspin 3. Running low downforce but on tracks wth high speed corners try to balance it wth roll bars and stuff. I've personally never had a probem with tyre wear on that game only on 2013 have I ever just not been able to make the tire last

2013 the tyres lasted a lot longer than they do now spa I was pitting lap 9 and only doing 2 laps on the slow tyre :)
Just remembered what I doing wrong using high revs too much this year that's why tyres are not lasting as long.
2013 lap 1-3 was on low revs 4-6 normal revs and 7-9 high revs. That's where I going wrong now I pushing none stop on high revs because the fuel allows it, I will have to get back to my tyre saving strategies :)
