Hello! This is my first post on the forums.
I've been playing iGP for a few weeks now, mostly in a friendly private league with a few people I know. It's great, but I joined midway through their second season, and despite everything I try, I can't catch up. My car's not too far off the stats this season as I can develop the chassis from the start of the season, but I'm still really far behind pace-wise. My drivers are probably top 10 in our league, as we're all Level 7ish, so that's not an issue.
I'm suspecting that the problem lies with my HQ development. As I've spent most of my first season hiring competitive staff and drivers, I didn't have the money or time to develop my facilities, and I believe what little I have been able to do is still a long way behind other teams in the league. Money's another issue. Thanks to all the HQ development, hiring and firing, I've gone from my £50m starting budget to £18m today, and I'm still losing £800k a race (losing just over £100k with bonuses, I think). I don't want to lose my drivers and staff to become uncompetitive, but at the same time losing all this money while fighting the same inactive couple of teams for P20 is starting to get grating.
Any tips or expectations when I should be able to catch up, relatively speaking, would be greatly appreciated. If I've missed any important information, don't hesitate to ask and I'll provide it best I can.

Just to start the ball rolling, focus your driver training on the "Physical" attributes until Stamina is 20.
If you want confirmation of the importance of this attribute look at the drivers of the leading teams.
Then read these...

Many thanks for the tips Kevin! I was unaware of the importance of Stamina, hence why my drivers have 9 and 7 stamina (amongst the lowest in the league) certainly something I need to train more! I did read the 'Complete Guide 2022' but clearly understated the effect of stamina on performance. The car development guide will doubtless come in handy. Thanks again for the help!

Did you say you joined midway through their second season? Is that season over yet? If not you will be at a significant disadvantage until that season is over. When joining a new league always make sure you do this in the gap between the old one finishing and the new one starting.
You will be in a better position at the start of next season so long as you follow the advice in the guides Kevin has provided.

I joined midway through their second season (and was dreadful) but this is the third season, so the teams are more equal starting out now, compared to last season at least.
