Hello all!

I had a few suggestions which I think could make the Driver Transfers more interesting and feel more expansive.

I think an option to bid for drivers, who are currently in contract with other teams, should be added, with the ability to negotiate for said driver with the manager of the driver's team. Of course, it's upto the manager if he wants to sell the driver or not. Kind of like in Football Manager in a way, if you will.

Not only would this make the transfer section feel more alive, I think it can also allow managers to sell drivers for what they think the driver is worth, or to be able to sell off their drivers for a lowball offer without the need to release them.

Of course, this may add the problem that some managers spam bid/request for a certain driver, but maybe that issue can be solved with adding driver status, like: not open to offers, no status set, transfer listed.

(Ps, a loan system could also be helpful to develop untrained drivers, loaning them out to lower level managers for a season or two, helping both the lower level team with high talent drivers, and the higher level teams with their drivers being improved, while saving on wages. That would certainly be interesting)

Anyways, thanks and let me know what you think of these suggestions!

I think that's a good idea.

To prevent spamming, you could introduce a limit. You can make a maximum of 4 bids. And the 4 remain until you take back the offer, it is rejected or confirmed.

I think that borrowing drivers is very good.

My idea would be that the two teams share the costs 50/50 or something like that. So get lvl 1 - 10 drivers with 20 talent and have it easier in the pro league and the driver gets experience from which the player in the pro or elite league then benefits. You could then make it so that there is the possibility to borrow for 1 -3 years.

So young reserve drivers are not just dead weight that cost a lot.

A few years ago the selling manager used to get the full sale price of a driver. Unfortunately this was exploited by people who would acquire cheap low level drivers in their main account then set up new accounts and bid silly money on these drivers which resulted in the main team harvesting billions in game cash.

To put an end to this exploit the "fixed sale price" had to be introduced.

I don't think there are any plans to reintroduce a system that allows the selling manager to set the sale price of a driver.
