Get rid of lower talented drivers

The talent of a driver is one of the most important attributes, yet there must be thousands of drivers with a talent below 10. There should be a minimum driver talent, lets just say 10, as the only people who are going to be using bad drivers are the new people who join the game and are automatically given a driver and are unaware of their misfortune. 

If you could filter by talent, that would work too. Though part of the fun of hiring on a high-talent is all the time you spend "scouting".

I wonder if the amount of drivers just keeps growing and growing since there are likely quite some YDA's producing drivers on a regular basis.

Trying to have higher talent drivers in the first season is a waste of money anyway though. Just keeping the low talent drivers and concentrate on building the team is the best way to go. The second season is the time to go searching for better drivers.

But perhaps the game could do with less drivers in the lower regions, a periodic cleanup of it doesn't exist yet.

I have an old driver who was talent 4.. He will never be used, but I do like to look back on the old crew now and then..
It would be nice to get rid of the ones who have never been in a team and sat there for 12 months.. As for the ones who have been in teams and the managers like to look back on them.. Then either keep them or leave them as a ghost image with just the stats.

Erasing unemployed drivers with talent below 5 wouldn't hurt, apart from that i'd like to see it stay the way it is.

That would be unrealistic, wouldn't it be?  All drivers be at least half the scale in talent.

Currently
level 6+ managers can hire 20 talent drivers.
level 3-5 managers can hire 19 talent drivers.

Lets throw a cat amongst pigeons & set it so you can only buy a driver who's talent matches your level :P

I like this idea, does seem a little too easy to get to the best drivers

What is the speed difference between a 1 & 20 talent driver?

Reverse roles?
level 1 managers start with 20 talent driver as you level up drivers talent gets lower.
Put your wits, strategies and managerial knowhow to the test. Everyone be resetting to level one hehe

Edit - I got me a 1 talent driver same height as my 20 talent driver so will find out in 8-9 seasons time what the speed difference is.
